The Dharmaraja–Kingswood Cricket Encounter is a cricket match between Dharmaraja College Kandy and Kingswood College, Kandy . It is the longest cricket match series in the central province, Sri Lanka, having been played for 106 years.It is also known as the "Battle of the Maroons" in public. The first match was played in 1893, with Dharmaraja College team captained by the great educationist, later Sir Don Baron Jayathilake, who was the principal of Dharmaraja at that time

Rhythm Scope 2013
Rhythm Scope '13” was organised by the Senior Western Brass Band of Ranabima Royal Collage for the fourth time. It was held on 8th March, 2013 at the Auditorium Of Dharmaraja College Kandy. The participated guest bands were Ananda College, Devi Balika Vidyala Colombo, A. Rathnayake Central College Walala, Girls’ High School Kandy, Gothami Balika Maha Vidyala Kandy, Mahamaya Girls’ College Kandy and Pushpadana Girls’ College. Kandy Rhythm Scope 2013.
